The Boy Version - BoB Birthday Card

Both of our kids have October birthdays - and seriously, as we enter into August I am reminded that fall is not far away! I decided to use the July BoBunny card sketch challenge to create cards for both our kids.

The card above is for Kyle, as you may guess...our bug-loving love bug who is almost 12! Grasshoppers are one of his favorite insect critters (next to crickets) - the BoBunny U Bug Me line was a natural choice for his card.

The card above came together in minutes using BoBunny products, border sticker, and a couple of accents from the birthday line. It's very much a "Kyle" card.

If you are interested in seeing the sketch I am following here it is.

Sketches do not have to be followed to a T - they are provided to help give you an idea. Usually I gravitate pretty far from a sketch, utilizing perhaps one idea, or accent shape, but I thought I should at least retain a decent resemblance to BoBunny's sketch for the challenge.

Of course the girly girl birthday card - for our almost 7 year old (she reminds us often she is 6.5) is the cake card shared below using mostly fun pink papers from BoBunny's Love Shack collection. Thanks for hopping by!
